Trintellix: Uses, How it Works & Common Side Effects
Trintellix is an antidepressant medicine used to treat major depressive disorder in adults, to help improve symptoms. It is a prescription medicine that is thought to work by balancing neurotransmitters which are chemical messengers in the brain.

Trintellix is available as a tablet that is usually taken once a day.
This medicine was first approved in 2013 under the brand name Brintellix, but in May 2016 its name was changed to Trintellix.
Common side effects include nausea, constipation or vomiting. You should not stop taking this medicine suddenly as you may have withdrawal symptoms.
